The selection of hunting and fishing guides is extensive. You don't have to look too hard to find someone to hire to help you pursue your quarry. As a 4th generation outfitter, we have learned that most paying customers expect more out of a guide/outfitter than just someone to point the way. They enjoy having a companion to illuminate all aspects and share the experience that they are living, if only for a few days. Quite often we see a relationship between Outfitter and client become so significant that the initial purpose of the trip becomes secondary. Being an Outfitter that can offer this level of companionship creates an advantage over competitors who may have more modern equipment, larger leases, and even higher success rates. Quality guides are like great camp cooks; even when hunting and fishing disappoints due to uncontrollable variables, clients who eat well are satisfied.
