João's journey in tourism and events culminated in 2013 with the launch of his maritime tourism business, focusing on Big Game fishing in Olhao-Algarve. A true advocate for marine conservation, he practices sustainable fishing by catching, tagging, and releasing fish, while also working closely with researchers to protect marine species. His philosophy, "Protection is Fun," highlights his commitment to preserving the ocean ecosystem. In 2016, João established Ocean Fun & Fishing Big Game Portugal, starting with the vessel EOLLA III, a Starfisher 840. Driven by a desire for excellence, he recently upgraded to the SAL X, a refurbished Riviera 36 (2023).
