Uganda offers excellent fishing opportunities for both amateurs and professional anglers. Anglers can enjoy catching trophy-sized fish, including the massive Nile perch, which can grow to impressive sizes and provide a thrilling fight. Fishing in Uganda presents a chance to target various species and experience the excitement of reeling in big game fish. Many of our Uganda's fishing spots are situated amidst stunning natural landscapes. Anglers can enjoy fishing surrounded by beautiful scenery, wildlife including some of Africa's Big 5, such as lush greenery and dramatic waterfalls. In Lake Victoria, you even have the opportunity to cross the equator line. It's not just about the fishing; it's also about immersing yourself in the breathtaking natural beauty and experiencing Uganda. On our fishing safaris (trips), you will get to seek out some of the diverse wildlife, including birds (over 1060 species), gorillas, chimpanzees and other primates, and of course Africa's Big 5 - lions, elephants, leopards, rhino and African buffalo. It is an enriching and memorable experience for anglers who appreciate nature and wildlife.
